Spy Whores

Lost Footage

Although the original film Spy Whores met moderate success, the ensuing sequels were money pits and led to the bankruptcy of its studio: Production Haus 60. Most of the films were thought to have been burnt for fuel in order to heat the former studio magnate Harold Ipshitz’s Echo Park home, or used to prop up the furniture of the formerly rich and famous.

With the revival of Spy Whores merchandise as retro collectible items for a new generation of enthusiasts, the hunt is now on to find scraps of lost footage of the films. Also of interest are the highly sought after auditions tapes: particularly of reoccuring characters Glock Tease, Cherry Bomb, and Anastasia Rockets.
